I used to be really self conscious about my hair. I never had thick hair before, but at least I did not have thinning hair either. It was thin, but I had a whole head of hair, so I really had no complaints. That was at first. When I was in my late 20s, my hair started thinning out even more. I didn’t even think that was possible, and that is when I started to get even more self conscious about my hair. I decided to see if there was a female aesthetic doctor in Singapore who would be able to help me.
I know this probably sounds silly, but I figured a female doctor would understand my concerns more. It looks more natural for a guy to have thinning hair or even no hair, but it is really hard when you are a woman and that happens. I just knew that I would feel more comfortable talking about this with a female because she would understand how devastating it is to go through this. I was able to find a female doctor pretty fast, much quicker than I had expected actually.
I went in for a consultation first, and I was very pleased with everything that was told to me about thinning hair. She looked at my hair closely and had some tests run too, and it was determined that this was due to a couple of different things. The great thing about it was that could be treated. I started using special hair products, and I also had to take supplements for the first time in my life. It was worth it though because not only did my thinning stop altogether, but something else happened too. My hair actually started to come back in thicker, and that was the best part of all this!
